The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter has a 5,000-pound towing capacity with its base engine, a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder. However, you can opt for the 6-cylinder diesel to boost the towing capacity to 7,500 pounds. At best, the Sprinter’s acceleration from 0 to 60 tops 10 seconds.

Rear-Wheel Drive vs. Front-Wheel Drive

One of the most notable differences between these two vans is that the Sprinter is rear-wheel drive while the ProMaster is front-wheel drive. What does this mean for you?
